Made in South Africa - thanks for shopping local 🤍

They say timing is everything, but when it comes to choosing when to pack your hospital bag, there is some flexibility. Ideally, you should try to have your bags packed by around 36/37 weeks pregnant (juuuust in case). You’ll feel more relaxed and prepared, knowing that you have everything you need for your tiny-human’s arrival.

We asked two mommy content creators to share with us their handy Hospital Bag checklist. These lists are an excellent starting point, but every hospital and birth centre does things differently, so ask ahead of time what they will supply and what you need to bring from home.

HOSPITAL READY by Kelly @thehealthyprocess

Getting your hospital bag packed and ready is and can be the first step to feeling organised and prepared for what lies ahead.
It’s so exciting but can also be daunting with knowing where to start and what to pack. Here is a list you can refer to to help get you started:

Hopsital bag checklist by Kelly

Whats in the bag?

  1. 2x Cherry Melon feeding bras
  2. 2x pairs of socks, slippers and slops
  3. 2x Cherry Melon lounge/PJ sets that are feeding friendly and super comfy
  4. A light bathrobe and 2 long button down sleep T-shirts
  5. Pads, wipes and maternity panties
  6. Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, dry shampoo, body wash, face wash, hair brush, lip balm, roll on
  7. Extra: extension cord, 2-point plug, pen, post-its, dim night lights with batteries (instead of using the harsh florescent hospital lights at night)

Hope this helps mammas xx Kelly
